Listing
Guidelines:
While we approve the vast majority of
submissions received, there are some submissions that we are unable to
approve. This guide outlines the general standards we use when approving
listings.
GENERAL STANDARDS:
Site
Ownership:
Members must own the site they are listing. We must be able to verify
domain name ownership via Internic or the WHOIS database. For this
reason, accounts must include a members name, address, and a valid
email address.
Relevancy:
Listings may only be approved when a site contains information, products
or services related to the keyword requested. For example: While a site
offering used cars, qualifies for all the keyword/phrases related to the
buying and selling of used cars, it does not qualify for the keyword
"pizza."
Generic
Keywords:
To qualify for generic keywords such as free, cheap, shopping, etc. a
site should provide a substantial amount of content related to the
keyword requested. For example: While a site offering one (1) free
newsletter does qualify for the keyword phrase "free
newsletters" it does not qualify for the single keyword
"free". To qualify for the keyword "free" a site
must offer substantial content, information, or links for free items.
Gambling
Sites:
For Atomicbot purposes a site is categorized as a "Gambling
Site" if it:
A) Promotes wagering or betting.
B) Accepts payment for the opportunity to win cash or prizes.
Gambling sites may list with keyword/phrases specifically related to
gambling.
(example: "blackjack" , "world series odds" ,
"football bets" etc.)
Adult Content:
For Atomicbot purposes a site is categorized as "Adult" if it:
A) Contains pornography or sexually explicit material.
B) Promotes hate, violence, illegal activates; or discrimination based
on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or
age.
We do not list sites that contain
Adult Content- no exceptions!
Additionally, we reserve the right to remove approved listings which
alter their site to include Adult Content.
COMMON LISTING ERRORS:
While we make every attempt to approve all submissions, here are some
common reasons a listing may not be approved.
Account Information:
We are unable to approve listings when:
- An account does not include a members
name, address, and valid email address.
- An account has a zero balance.
Web Address:
Listings cannot be approved if the web
address (URL).
- Leads to a "Page Not
Found" error message.
- Contains multiple pop-ups.
Titles and
Descriptions:
To prevent listing display errors, we are
unable to approve listings when the Title or Description includes:
- Sentence Cramming. (i.e.
a,long,stretch,of,words,with,no,spaces.)
- Overuse of Punctuation. (i.e.
"!!!@@##$$$**)
